A bit of fun with polymer nail art canes, these come in a carousel with all different colours and styles of your favourite cakes, they can be embedded into acrylic and gel and also used with a nail polish application
1. Start with a base background colour, we used Diamond Polish #72 On to the wet polish we placed some Cupcake Delights Polymer nail art shapes.
2. We then created a french look using Diamond Polish #16 Let this dry thoroughly before proceeding to next step.
3. Using black nail art paint and a short detail nail art brush we drew stripes down on the burgandy polish. If you get the stripes wrong or crooked, simply get a wipe and wet it with water and rub the stripes off and then re do. If your polish underneath is dry this will not affect it.
Another option is do do it by freehand using nail polish and acrylic paints.
1. Apply your base colour, let dry.
2. As above create your french. Leave to dry thoroughly
3. Using either white nail polish or white nail art paint create the frosting above the french striped area.
4. While the white is wet, using red nail art paint or red nail polish, place and dot for the cherry on top.
5. For the sprinkles you can use micro beads placed individually, you can use a nail art brush and nail art paint to paint them on, or you can use dots of nail polish. You can also use chunky mylar glitter or flitterz as well
6. Finish with two coats of Nail Art Top to seal your design.
